History
The building that houses Riverchase Carpet and Flooring was not always a carpet store. Originally, it was a gas station. This photo was taken in 1950 and as you can see, the area was quite undeveloped at the time. The gas station was one of the last ones between here and Montgomery. When Riverchase Carpet and Flooring was founded in 1995, a decision was made to save the old building rather than tear it down. The building was in terrible condition. The front doors are where the garage doors were located. The remodeling took two years and the showroom is one of the finest in the South. Today, the company has several buildings on the property to house the large amounts of flooring required by our customers.
Riverchase Carpet and Flooring has been serving the flooring needs of the Pelham, Hoover, and Riverchase since 1995. Since that time, we have expanded our service reach outward from the store. We routinely handle jobs from Huntsville to the Florida Panhandle. Our customers come from Cullman, Anniston, and Tuscaloosa, as well as our over-the-mountain service area.
